There are three separate tours taking place this spring:

  • The Fifth Annual MaxPreps Tour of Champions presented by the Army National Guard for Girls’ Basketball, honoring 10 of the top girls’ basketballteams across the country
  • The Sixth Annual MaxPreps Tour of Champions presented by the Army National Guard for Boys’ Basketball, honoring 10 of the top boys’ basketball teams across the country
  • The First Annual MaxPreps Tour of Champions presented by the Army National Guard for Girls’ Soccer, honoring 6 of the top girls’ soccer teams across the country

MaxPreps ranks over 15,000 girls’ soccer teams, over 20,000 girls’ basketball and 20,000 boys’ basketball teams throughout the United States.

Once the 26 teams were selected for the Tour, dk Event Marketing worked with tour coordinators Precision Sports Entertainment to promote the Tour to various media outlets across the country.

Each school is presented with an Army National Guard National Ranking Trophy in recognition of its outstanding achievements throughout the 2011-2012 season.  Trophies are given by a representative from the Army National Guard and MaxPreps at various celebrations and formal ceremonies in April and May.

In the fall, dk Event Marketing, in conjunction with Precision Sports Entertainment, honored 50 football and 6 girls’ volleyball teams on the MaxPreps Tour of Champions Presented by the Army National Guard for Football and Girls’ Volleyball, garnering over $300,000 in TV value alone.
