The Kamehameha Warriors Girls’ Soccer team was the fourth team to be honored on the inaugural Girls’ Soccer MaxPreps Tour of Champions presented by the Army National Guard and dk Event Marketing made the trek across the Pacific Ocean for the presentation.

The Warriors finished the 2011-2012 season ranked No. 23 out of 15,000 teams in the country in the MaxPreps Freeman poll and were one of just six teams honored on the inaugural tour. They won the Hawai’i Division I State Championship by beating ‘Iolani 1-0.

Athletic Director Glennie Adams opened the ceremony by presenting each member of the team and coaching staff with a traditional Hawaiian lei. Then Chris Stonebraker of MaxPreps and Lieutenant Colonel Laura Soares of the Hawai’i Army National Guard, a graduate of Kamehameha herself, presented Head Coach Missy Moore and the Kamehameha Girls’ Soccer Team with an Army National Guard national ranking trophy.

The team and fans were very excited to receive the prestigious trophy in front of their classmates, family and friends.

Congratulations to the Kamehameha Warriors and mahalo for welcoming dk Event Marketing to your beautiful campus.
