ENGLISHTOWN, NJ – With lingering rain showers just passing by, mud was more than ample for the start of the Rock Solid Mud Run at Raceway Park.

What the race creators describe as a challenging course with military obstacles, the 5 miles of mud and water will test all aspects of your physical and mental strength.

The one to two hour course was built by a previous United States Marine with 22 years of experience and incorporates many obstacles you would find in the most rigorous military training camps where the top members of the U.S. Armed Forces train.

The Rock Solid Mud Run doesn’t only cater to providing a place for participants to leave covered in mud but also take a portion of their proceeds and give back to the community.

A portions of funds from the run are donated to the Semper Fi Fund.

The Semper Fi Fund is a non-profit organization set up to “provide immediate financial support for injured and critically ill members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families”. – SemperFiFund.org
